If you’ve found your way to this page, you’re probably looking for peace, mountain air, and a place where you can truly rest. That’s exactly what Przystanek Gorce is.

We invite you to Podhale – to Nowy Targ, in the quiet, mountain district of Buflak. This is where our guest house stands, away from the noise and rush. Right next to it begin the trails leading through the Gorce Mountains – toward Łapsowa Polana, Turbacz, or Stare Wierchy. Step outside the door, and you’re already on the path.

This place offers endless possibilities. You can explore the less crowded Gorce trails, head to the Tatra Mountains and Zakopane, raft down the Dunajec River in the Pieniny, visit Babia Góra, or hop over to Slovakia. Many of our guests say that even two weeks aren’t enough to see everything in the area.

Let’s meet

We are Izabela and Maciek.

For Izabela, this place is special – she grew up here, and her family has lived here for generations. It’s a part of her story.
Maciek comes from Zakopane and has always been connected to the mountains.
We created Przystanek Gorce the way we ourselves would want to live – with attention to detail, natural materials, and an atmosphere that brings a sense of calm. Inside, you’ll find elements with history: old wood, reclaimed boards, and details from traditional local buildings. Each piece has its place and its own story.
If you’d like, we’ll be happy to share that story with you. Or simply point you toward the best mountain trails, good food, and ways to make the most of your time here.
Your time in the mountains
There is only one guest house on our property. We wanted it to feel intimate, peaceful, and free from crowds.
We live right next door – close enough when you need us, but giving you complete freedom and privacy.
Around the house, there is space, greenery, and quiet. Deer often wander onto the meadow, the trees rustle, and everything slows down. It’s the perfect place for morning coffee on the terrace, an evening rest, and a true break from everyday life.
There is also an old wooden house from the 1930s on the property, built in the Zakopane style, which adds a unique character to the whole place.

We want you to feel good here – relaxed, at peace, and simply at home.
Because Przystanek Gorce is more than just a house. It’s a place you’ll want to return to.

The house and its amenities

Everything you need – without unnecessary excess, but with comfort and atmosphere.

Przystanek Gorce is a house designed for comfortable rest, whether you’re coming for a weekend or a longer stay. Capacity: 1–8 guests.

Layout

Upstairs, there are two bedrooms:

the first with two single beds (which can be joined into one large bed) and a sofa bed,
the second also with two single beds (which can be joined) and a fold-out armchair for one person.

On the ground floor, in the living room, there is an additional sofa bed for two people.

Comfort and atmosphere

The house is fully heated (heat pump), and for a special cozy mood you can light the wood‑burning stove – especially pleasant after a day spent in the mountains.

Kitchen

Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen with:

a 2‑burner induction cooktop
fridge
dishwasher
microwave
Nespresso coffee machine

You’ll also find all necessary dishes, pots, cutlery, and glassware.

Bathrooms

There are two bathrooms:

downstairs: a bathroom with a shower,
upstairs: a toilet with a sink.

Outdoor space

Outside, a spacious terrace awaits you with a seating area and loungers – perfect for morning coffee or a peaceful evening. A gas grill is also available.

For full relaxation, you can additionally enjoy a hot tub (jacuzzi) and an outdoor sauna with a forest view (both available on request, for an additional fee).
